Load & Life
1.9" x 16 gauge crimped conveyor rollers endure testing at 780 surface
feet per minute carrying a continuous load of 600 lbs.
Precision Core Bearing
Load rating of the 6002-2RS precision core bearing is 1260 lbs.
Double seals contain the lubrication and seal out contaminants.
Noise Levels
Frantz 1.9" x 16 gauge precision bearing runs at approximately 56
decibels. In comparison a GEN II series runs at 71 decibels and a
conventional 1.9 Series stamped metal bearing runs at 84 decibels.
The insert molded bushing proves to reduce noise level within the
precision bearing assembly.
IronGrip Carbon Steel Housing
Carbon steel housing swaged tight delivers a very secure crimp fit in a roller
assembly without sacrificing bearing clearances.
Insert Molded Polypropylene Bushing
The feature of insert molding static discharging polypropylene material
within the ABEC 1 bearing assembly proves to be robust in both static
and dynamic loads. Results reflect the insert molded one piece
bushing outperforms traditional latching style bushings both in load and
life expectancy. Axle lug/bushing interference issues are reduced
compared to typical latching style inserts as well. Excellent
concentricity is achieved through the molding process resulting in
higher quality and longer life.
Lubrication
6002-2RS precision core bearings are offered standard with a lithium
based grease that exhibits good rust and corrosion resistant properties.
The grease has excellent low temperature properties including low
starting and running torque at very low temperatures. Additional
characteristics are good mechanical stability, a high degree of
resistance to water and extremely high oxidation stability.
Temperature range of the grease is -58° to 240° Fahrenheit.
Recommended ambient operating temperature range of the bearing is -58°
to 240° Fahrenheit.
Assembly
The Frantz bearing assembly is intended to be crimped into metal tubing.
A precise fit-up between the bearing assembly and roller will aid in
increasing bearing life. Frantz Manufacturing has the expertise to
supply 1.9" Precision Bearing crimp tooling as well. |
