The core bearing concept mated with IronGrip adapter housings provide simply a better value than competitor “all in one” machined Semi-Precision conveyor bearings.

• GEN II® Core Semi-Precision Bearing
  
  Is designed to far exceed CEMA standards providing longer life at heavier load ratings. GEN II® Core Semi-Precision bearings will roll beyond 10M revs which is 10x CEMA standards. Stamped and grooved outer races ensure that the Frantz® specified specialty Sterling® Steel Ball complement rolls truer and lasts longer than Non-Precision commercial grade conveyor bearings. A GEN II® bearing will deliver 1/10th the lifetime cost compared to conveyor rollers made with commercial Non-Precision conveyor bearings. Its two sizes can be adapted for use in applications beyond conveyor bearings.


• Premium Blended Grease
  
  Lubrication plays a critical role in the life and performance of conveyor bearings. Frantz has worked with its petroleum supplier to custom blend grease to our specification. Frantz®14 provides superior performance over a wide temperature range from -40°F to 300°F. Frantz®14 is used in our lighter duty GENII core Semi Precision conveyor bearings as well as most light duty conveyor bearings and conveyor wheels. It provides very good corrosion protection and a substantial noise reduction (up to 6 db) compared to standard greases. For our heavier duty GENII core Semi-Precision conveyor bearings we have selected a state of the art lithium based complex grease from Duralube to match tougher operating environments. This grease has been formulated with a special additive package which insures high film strength, and extreme pressure and anti-wear properties. Recommended operating range for Duralube is from -10° to 300°F.
