Sterling, IL – Sterling® Steel Ball, division of Frantz® Manufacturing Company, is pleased to announce that is has officially received re-registration of its Quality Management System in accordance with ISO-9001:2008 and ISO/TS-16949:2009. Sterling Steel Ball’s Quality Management System was audited by SGS U.S. Testing Company, Inc and was found to conform to both sets of requirements.
ISO/TS-16949:2009 is an international technical specification which was prepared by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) and Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc. (JAMA). It is the fundamental set of quality management requirements for the international automotive industry. ISO-9001:2008 is a quality management standard sponsored by the International Organization for Standardization, which specifies the quality systems to be established by manufacturing and service firms.
