Application Notice for Frantz® Manufacturing Company
1000 Series Ball Transfers as defined by Part Number.

Frantz® Mfg. Co. uses Industry Standard Bolts in 1000 series Ball Transfers;
defined as Standard Round Head Square Neck (Carriage) Bolt Standards and as outlined by ANSI B18.15.5-1990 and the Industrial Fasteners Institute.

April 4, 2007:  Moderate care should be taken when mounting the Frantz® 1000 series Ball Transfer model on a fixture to be sure the bolt’s Square Neck does not interfere with hole in assembly.  When using a Frantz® 1000 series Ball Transfer the following clearance hole sizes are recommended as guide for use with Standard Round Head Square Neck Bolts.  This hole size should be adequate to accommodate most all Standard Round Head Square Neck Bolts used in conjunction with our Ball Transfer products in order to facilitate a tight fit between the Ball Transfer and the mounting surface.

Uses ¼” Bolt-      1000226023, 1000226223,1000226323, 1000226423, 1000226523, 1000227023, 1000236023, 1000246023, 1000256023.
Uses 5/16”Bolt -  1000526023, 1000526223, 1000526323, 1000526423, 1000527023, 1000536023, 1000546023, 1000556023.
Uses 3/8” Bolt-    1000326023, 1000326223, 1000326323, 1000326423, 1000327023, 1000336023, 1000346023, 1000356023.

*Mounting surface may require Chamfering; particularly needed for Standard Bolts Manufactured without a shoulder relief angle.
